Who we are

Spring Point Partners is a social impact organization that champions community-driven change and promotes justice by investing in transformational leaders, networks and solutions.

Purpose

Our Team

Spring Point Partners is led by a team of dedicated professionals with on-the-ground experience and programmatic and investment expertise, and a deep connection to equity and justice. The directors of Spring Point Partners – Graham, Jessica, James and Joanna Berwind – continue to drive our work and lead our strategy through their original vision and values.  Together, we listen to and learn from our network of impact partners, and then share comprehensive and flexible supports to drive lasting change and to accelerate and advance equity and justice in our communities.

Our Values

People-first

“Are we helping people?” We are anchored in the belief that the core beneficiaries of our work are people, whether directly supporting a particular community, or a leader of an organization in the field.

Equity

We welcome, support and seek to represent all people. We strive to respectfully lift underrepresented voices and value the lived experiences of our colleagues, partners and communities. A work in progress, we acknowledge that we are always learning, evolving and holding each other accountable in our pursuit of equitable practices and inclusion throughout the organization.

Humility

We approach complex work knowing that we do not have the answers.

We know what we know and what we do not know. We also know we will not find real answers if we impose our views on our partners.

Collaboration

We find and support the individuals and organizations already doing the work in the field, so that we might accelerate, deepen or magnify their impact.

Trust

True collaboration requires building and sustaining deep relationships with grantees and investees that stand the test of time and funding cycles. Maintaining the integrity of these partnerships is considered paramount for us.

Learning

The cycle of doing, learning, and improving is our lifeblood. We constantly seek to learn from grantees and experts in the field, and to improve with them. We embrace rigorous self-reflection because it makes us all stronger.
