Catherine Murphy

As founding president, Catherine Murphy joined the directors in leading the establishment of Spring Point Partners, bringing her commitment to service and leadership acumen to ensure the growth and sustainability of the social impact organization. For 18 years, she has played a pivotal role in the Berwind Group, helping the owners build their family office and pioneering efforts to create and bolster social value through impact investments and grantmaking. While her tenure as SPP’s president concluded in 2024, Catherine remains a senior advisor to the family, ensuring a close connection between SPP’s continued innovation and its directors’ original vision. She is a mother of three with a passion for children, animals, and the outdoors.
