ABOUT SPRING POINT PARTNERS

Founded in Philadelphia, Spring Point Partners, LLC (Spring Point) is a social impact organization that invests in the transformational leaders, networks and solutions that power community change and advance justice.

We do this by seeking out and supporting community leaders who have the vision to see what’s possible and the drive to make that real; connecting the experience of partners with comprehensive and flexible supports for shared learning and impact; and investing in innovative ideas and adaptive solutions that can spark and scale change for all.

Whether we’re partnering on youth development, equity in learning, animal welfare, economic justice, or investing in new business models that close opportunity gaps and boost social and economic mobility, we center equity and justice in all we do — supporting individuals and ideas that can have a catalytic impact in their communities and on our society.

Together, let’s change the way social impact is achieved.

ABOUT THE HIVE

As part of Spring Point’s portfolio, The Hive focuses on a strength-based approach to youth development, specifically related to amplifying voice, choice, and opportunity for all young people. We do this by supporting efforts that seek to transform the narrative around adolescence from one that is deficit-focused to one that is strengths-based, and that works to overcome individual and systemic barriers that may prevent young people from realizing their full potential.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Sr. Program Officer, Hive/Lead, Youth Strategy (SPO) reports to the Chief Grants Officer and serves as the strategic leader for The Hive’s youth development portfolio. Grounded in Philadelphia, the work is designed to generate models, partnerships, and practices that strengthen youth serving systems and influence the field of adolescent development more broadly.

The role translates Spring Point’s strategic priorities around youth into coordinated action through a combination of grantmaking, tailored learning initiatives, strategic convenings and campaigns, partnership development, and other field-building efforts. It designs and oversees interconnected programming with the goals of strengthening partner organizational capacity, advancing the implementation of adolescent-centered practices across stakeholders, enhancing cross-sector collaboration, and accelerating systems change efforts.

The position provides leadership for a dynamic portfolio that extends beyond grantmaking – overseeing learning and training initiatives, managing consultants and strategic partnerships, convening leaders across sectors, and advancing collaborative efforts that strengthen the broader youth ecosystem. The role also supervises the Sr. Program Officer, Youth Justice, fostering alignment, collaboration, and shared accountability across the youth portfolio.

Success in this role requires a highly credible youth development leader with deep domain expertise, exceptional facilitation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to translate strategy into meaningful action. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing strategy, designing learning experiences, convening diverse stakeholders, supervising talent, and leading initiatives that create lasting impact for young people.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role with a hybrid schedule of three days a week at the Philadelphia office and two days virtual, with schedule adjustments as needed based on the organization or department needs. May also require occasional travel to partner sites.
